Over the past several weeks Carl Michael Salon employees have been focusing on furthering their education with both in-salon classes as well as traveling to different destinations where top Redken educators have been passing on their knowledge. Below are some of the experiences we've encountered that we would like to share our guests.

| In Salon Color Class, August 09' |
 On Monday, July 13th Carl Michael Salon employees were privileged with a visit from one of New York's Redken Color Artists, Kelly McGee. The class consisted of a 2 hr. seminar regarding a technique called color blocking, which is a way to incorporate different textures and dimension using unique partings rather than using the typically highlight/lowlight foil technique. Following the lecture portion, the stylists finished the day with a 2 hr. hands-on practical where they implemented their new skills on mannequins

| Elite Color Class with Beth Minardi |
 Lisa Lipani and Erica Martell had the honor to have been two of only fifty colorist from New England chosen to attend an up close and personal color class with Beth Minardi. Celebrity Hair Colorist Beth has dedicated her career to the elevation of salon coloring to an art form. As an internationally acclaimed salon colorist, educator and product consultant, Beth is recognized as one of the world's leading experts in all phases of coloring. During our day long event we studied the latest trends, elevated our knowledge with color "challenges" and color correction. |
